Statewide Consultancy Program

The Statewide Consultancy Program (SCP) provides consultation and training to allied health professionals and other staff in organisations that support people with disability throughout Western Australia. This includes support to regional andf remote areas. The SCP focuses on strengthening local services and building the capacity of local staff so that people with disability can access supports close to home.

What we do

The team has a focus on developing the knowledge, understanding, confidence and skills required to work with, and support, people with disability. We work in partnership with local service providers and carers to identify the issues to then deliver an individualised service to meet specific needs.

Who we are

The SCP team consists of experienced occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech pathologists and family systems therapist who draw on a broad knowledge base of contemporary evidence-based practice.

Who we support

SCP provides support to people working with or caring for people with disability of all ages – from children 0-6yrs, school age children, adults to older people with any type of disability.

How we provide our service

  • phone discussions and emails
  • video conferencing with individuals and groups
